Entry: New Apple iPod Nano 5th Generation Features Video Camera Capabilities
The 5th generation Apple iPod will indeed feature a video camera as many earlier sources had revealed. The Apple "It’s Only Rock and Roll" event today also revealed that the device will feature a pedometer and a radio plus voice recorder.
As we mentioned above the 8GB iPod Nano will sell for a respectable $150. While 16GB comes in only $30 higher at $180.
The FM Tuner includes Live Pause and iTunes Tagging, while the screen display is larger than past Nano devices at 2.2 inches. The video is also far off from Flip HD recorders with VGA support up to 640 x 480 and 30fps with AAC audio, while also offering H.264 support.
The camera also offers a bunch of realtime effects that include sepia, security camera, bulge, cyborg and others. While the 5th Gen is also lighter by 0.02 ounces coming in at 1.28 ounces, which is a bit odd considering it now has a camera and is the exact same size dimensions wise when compared to the Nano 4th generation.
